The Meier Monsters: 10 Mile Hike

We had planned on the hike only taking about four hours. We thought we would be back in time for lunch. Instead it took eight hours. All we had to eat was a couple of granola bars. But it was worth the pain.

Robbie shouted, "Hey Dad look at that Giant! Tell everybody to run!" he said as the 6'-10'' former BYU basketball player stood up in sacrament meeting. A few chuckles could be heard.
Robbie says, "Hey Dad I know why mom wants us all to start fasting." Dad says, "No, tell me why?" Robbie says, "She wants us all to start fasting so she doesn't have to make us anything so she won't have to clean up the kitchen or anything else on that day."
Robbie says, "Hey Dad I know why Riley watches so much TV." Dad asks, "Why does Riley watch so much TV." Robbie says, "Cuz you watch a lot of TV, so he thinks he can." Dad says, "Why do you think I watch a lot of TV." Robbie, "Cuz you do." Dad says,"No I don't! I only watch it at night when you see me." Robbie says, "Yea I know, like every night, that's alot."
Robbie says, "Hey Dad which guy do you think Jesus wants to win this fight?" Dad says, "Jesus doesn't care, because he doesn't watch stuff like this." Robbie says, "Then why are we watching it?"
