People need to think outside the box on what is service.

Our family was very impressed with Pres. Monson's talk on warm fuzzies and doing service for one another. Just the other day Robbie, the first little monster, provided a special kind of service that they just don't teach in primary any more. It was nothing short of jumping on a granad for his brother. His little monster brother decided to unbuckle himself from his car seat, while the car was speeding down the street. Knowing that this would be dangerous for his little brother to be unbuckled in the car, he insisted that Riley buckle himself back up. Because his dumb little brother didn't want to be seated and kept releasing his seat belt Robbie did what he knew would be the right thing to do. While remaining buckled he jumped and laid his body across Riley's seat belt, all the while, as he received repeated blows to the head. Screaming for relief he held down that buckle until the car came to a complete stop. That is a different kind of service, a kind of service you just can't talk about, but none the less just as important. How do you share that kind of service in a conference talk? The violence and swollen forehead makes one wonder, why would one provide such a warm fuzzy for such a little punk! What's your warm fuzzy?

It's already Fall?

Since the family reunion we have started school twice now, this is only possible with a bad track on year round school. We are now four weeks from the big due date. As you can see we are saving up all blogging post and pictures until that day. Okay maybe if the Halloween customes are really good this year we will put the pics up on the blog for everyone to see.

Bears in the Camp

This is living proof that bears were close by, less than a half mile close by. Some family members didn't think it was necessary for Kelly to take all food inside the cabin.

If you look closely you can see a bear behind the pine tree on the left side. At the bottom of the picture you can see the date of when it was taken. Saturday night after the Rodeo BBQ this picture was taken.

Even More Family Reunion Pics

The Reunion Hike started at the old Indian fort behind the cabin.

The Pilgrimage stretched long and far. Old and Young, tall and small, fat and thin.

Some of the Family members rode their motorcycles to the reunion. Here is a pic of the Harley Riders.

The Muley was the transportation vehicle forthe camping gear. Some people brought enough camping gear to stay a life time.

More Family Reunion Pics

Big Boy Bottle Rockets.

Candy was placed on the top of each rocket then shot into the air. Candy would fly every where and the kids would go crazy trying to pick it up.

The rocket was pressurized with the air pump. A big crowd pleaser at a redneck family reunion.

Day 2 Family Reunion

Friday morning uncle Mike and I tried to ditch out on the reunion so we took a long ride that started out on the continental divide trail on the Montana Idaho boarder on Redrock road. We headed north on the trail. then we cut off onto the Elk Lodge trail.

We saw Henry's Lake.

We saw the Centennial Mountains.

The Centennial Mountains along the Idaho Montana boarder.

We found hidden lake! I once went fishing there many many years ago. We didn't catch many fish because uncle Parkie ran over his worms the night before.

Mike above Hidden Lake.

Rob above Hidden Lake. We never found Elk Lake, but Mike still said it was the best part of the reunion for him.

Friday night at the reunion we took the kids on a bear hunt in the dark with a spot light. We saw predator eyes lurking at us through the dark forest and kids started crying.

Family Reunion Sand Dunes

Day One of the Family Reunion Started out at The St. Anthony Sand Dunes in Idaho. Here is a picture of Uncle Gary Radford getting some big St. Anthony air. Everyone had a good time.
This is the Devil's Back Bowl. Uncle Gary and Uncle Kory spun around the rim like they were running from the devil. Had there wives been there they wouldn't had "AAA- tempted" it. Aunt Katie would of had a heart attack at the sight of this massive like moon crater.

They call this Choke Cherry Hill. Straight up and straight down. It is one of the steepest dunes in the lower 48.

Everyone has mad skills except that guy on the yellow one. Not sure if we will invite him again.

Desert Oaisis.

The next generations of riders.

Look at the Big St. Anthony Air uncle Kory got on his dirt bike.
More crazy dune riding by uncle Gary.

Today the pacifier was replaced with a whistle. So we gave it back.

Living the Dream!

Now that we have a family blog and Kelly is on Facebook we are truly living the dream.
